Founded in 1952 the BBC Concert Orchestra is one of the world’s finest orchestra’s having performed at the Royal Festival Hall, the Proms in London, and The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert.
Keith Lockhart, one of classical music’s most vibrant maestros, became the seventh principal conductor of the BBC Concert Orchestra in 2008. Lockhart has served as a conductor for many orchestras across the world and is the current Artistic Director of the Brevard Music Center Summer Institute and Festival. He continues to conduct with the Boston Pops. Considered to be one of Britain’s most versatile ensembles, the BBC Concert Orchestra under the command of Maestro Keith Lockhart, continues to be a magnetic force in classical music.
Hailed as one of the most gifted musicians of this generation, Charlie Albright is a master of classical in his own right. Winner of the 2010 Gilmore Young Artist Award, Albright has performed with the Silk Road Project, San Francisco Symphony and revered cellist Yo-Yo Ma. Albright is a dynamic performer with the most flawless piano techniques of any young performer.
