Harvard Business School graduate Vivian Sanchez serves
as FIU´s interim Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In
this capacity, Sanchez oversees the financial responsibilities of the
University, including the offices of the Controller, Budget, Purchasing
and Treasury.
Sanchez, a co-founder
and managing partner of Initium LLC, an advisory firm dedicated to assisting
companies restructure by expanding into new markets/ventures and developing
effective operating infrastructures, brings more than 15 years of senior-level
executive experience to FIU. She has designed and implemented business
and financial strategies for organizations in the U.S., Latin America,
Eastern Europe and Asia.
A graduate from
Harvard Business School (1993), Sanchez completed undergraduate studies
at Georgetown University’s reputable School of Foreign Service.

and consulting as well as some of the strategic choices that helped
her become a successful business leader.
