EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL COUNSEL FOR NEW YORK METS

• Is responsible for the legal affairs of the organization, as well as human resources...Also serves as Vice President and Secretary of Mets Development Company, LLC.

• Joined the Mets on May 22, 1995 as Legal Counsel…Was promoted to General Counsel on January 20, 1998 to Vice President on February 7, 2001, to Senior Vice President on April 15, 2003, and to Executive Vice President on September 28, 2005.

• Was associated with The law firm of Alston & Bird in Atlanta, GA from September 1989 to September 1993, specializing in antitrust law, intellectual property law and commercial litigation.

• In 1993, was appointed to the bench as an Associate Judge for the Juvenile Court of Fulton County, GA.

• Holds a Master’s Degree in Law from Columbia University, a JD. Degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Florida College of Law, and a B.B.A. in Accounting from Florida International University.

• Serves as Board Chairman for Harlem RBI, a baseball and social service organization in East Harlem, NY.

• Born in North Miami Beach, FL, David now lives in Westchester County with his wife, Erika and their two sons.
