Honors College Convocation Contest

Submission Deadline: September 12, 2005

The time has come once again to enter the Honors College Convocation Contest. All Honors College students are encouraged to submit work produced within or outside the College. Entries may include but need not be limited to scientific and research articles, journalistic essays, poetry, creative prose, design work (computer, interior, website), original musical composition, photography, two- and three-dimensional art, video, and multimedia.

• Entries are limited to three per entrant.
• All entries should be submitted to Associate Dean Lesley A. Northup no later that 5 p.m. on September 12, 2005.
• The entry form may be downloaded from the College website at http://www.fiu.edu/~honors/convocation.
• Written work must be submitted electronically to honors@fiu.edu, with the entry form attached.
• Entrants submitting large artwork, experimental apparatus, design models and other unwieldy entries will be responsible for transporting such works to the Graham Center Ballroom and back on Convocation Day to ensure their safety and proper setup.
• All entrants will be required to attend Convocation.
• All entries must be picked up from The Honors College no later than one week after Convocation.
