Arts Core requirement (three credits) plus
One lower division elective (three credits).

Comparative Culture and Gender Studies (SS)* plus
One lower division elective (three credits).

General elective in most majors

Options For Business Majors
- Option
1: Business and Professional Communication - COM
3110 (an upper-division requirement) may
be waived if they complete two years of Honors
College curriculum (twelve credits).
- Option 2: IDH 3005, IDH 3006, IDH 4007, IDH 4008
may be used toward general elective requirements.
Students are encouraged to meet with a Business
advisor to determine the better option. The SASS
will be updated by an academic advisor in the College
of Business.
*Students who begin the Honors College
with the second year course may choose to apply
the course
toward either the Art core requirement or the Comparative
Culture and Gender Studies (SS) core requirement.
