The Honors College is pleased to offer the following scholarships to its students. Please review the information below and submit the necessary application materials for consideration. Students are encouraged to check this website for scholarship updates as new opportunities are posted periodically.

The William T. Jerome III Community Service Scholarship

Criteria: Currently an Honors College Senior in good standing (minimum 3.3 GPA); evidence of motivation, character and potential through community service; demonstration of an effort to integrate university learning with civic engagement.

The Barbara Bader Scholarship

Criteria: Honors College student in good standing (minimum 3.3 GPA); eligible for financial aid (in or out of state); Evidence of motivation, character, and potential through community service

The Lucille E. Snaith Memorial Scholarship Endowment

Criteria: Honors College student in good standing (minimum 3.3 GPA), preference given to incoming Freshmen; U.S. Citizenship; legal residency in Miami-Dade or Broward County; financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office; outstanding academic performance; evidence of motivation, good character, leadership potential and community service.

USDA Multicultural Scholars Program

Criteria: Honors College student is awarded $24,000 over four years of college to pursue a BA or BS in Environmental Studies with a focus on Agroecology.  The scholarship will begin in the Fall 2007.

Study Abroad Scholarship

Criteria: :The Honors College awards one $1000 scholarship towards Honors College Study AbroadPrograms.
