MIAMI (June 25, 2007)- Arturo Jordan, Carlos Castellon, and Ed Ricardo, FIU College of Business alumni and partners at Jordan Castellon Ricardo P.L., an accounting, tax, management consulting and litigation support firm, have donated $25,000 to establish a scholarship in support of Honors College students who are studying accounting at Florida International University (FIU).

“This is a wonderful and generous gift from the team at Jordan Castellon Ricardo P.L. -- one that will have a direct and significant impact on students,” said Lesley A. Northup, Dean of the Honors College. “The "FIU Team" at Jordan Castellon Ricardo P.L. is setting a fine standard for community-university cooperation in producing tomorrow's leaders.”

The Honors College is comprised of over 1100 exceptional students, dedicated scholars and committed faculty and staff. Through an interdisciplinary education, leadership training, study abroad programs, and extra-curricular programs, the College prepares some of FIU’s best and brightest to become well rounded leaders.
