Welcome to The Honors College!

Our students, faculty, and staff take pride in the pursuit of excellence in all that we do: the teaching and learning in classes, our scholarly research--whether in the library, lab, or field--our study abroad programs, student research and artistic initiatives program, our mentoring and service learning, and other engagements.

It takes little more than a short visit with us-physical or virtual-to realize that we provide the best features of two worlds. We are a small community of outstanding students, superb teachers, accomplished researchers, and a dedicated staff working in an environment usually associated with small private colleges, but with the resources of a major research university, and one that's in the top 150 universities nation-wide.

This site offers a wealth of information about our philosophy, organization, and programs, providing a glimpse of the two worlds from which we benefit. It's intended to serve several functions: provide information, facilitate communication, and enable alumni and friends to contribute to efforts to extend the opportunities for an Honors experience to other talented and deserving students.
