The following equivalencies apply to Honors College freshmen admitted as of Fall semester 2003.

Successful completion of IDH 1001 and IDH 1002
(The Origin of Ideas and the Idea of Origins) fulfills the Arts requirement of the UCC.

Successful completion of IDH 1001/IDH 1002 and IDH 2003/IDH2004
(Inhabiting Other Lives) fulfills the Foundation of Social Inquiry requirement of the UCC.

Successful completion of IDH 2003/IDH2004 fulfills the Societies and Identities requirement of the UCC.

The above statements imply that completion of both IDH 1001/IDH 1002 and IDH 2003/IDH 2004 will satisfy:

Art Requirement
Foundations of Social Inquiry
Societies and Identities

Students who begin in the 2nd year may only satisfy Societies and Identities
