The Secret War: Brigade 2506 and the Global Consequences of the Bay of Pigs Invasion.

This course presents students with a unique opportunity to learn about Brigade 2506, a force of Cuban exiles that invaded Cuba in April 1961 to oust Communist dictator Fidel Castro and restore democracy to the island. The course will cover the general history of Brigade 2506 and Bay of Pigs Invasion, as well as the political forces driving this momentous chapter in the history of the Cold War.
