How long have you been in the Honors College? I have been in the Honors College since my freshman year.
What’s one interesting fact about you? An interesting fact about me is that I like watching mystery movies and TV shows.
What’s your dream job? What would you like to be doing after you graduate? My dream job is to work at a high-tech company like Google or NASA.
What are your hobbies? What do you like to do for fun outside of school? My hobbies are journaling and watching movies. What I like to do for fun outside of school is exercising. It helps releases my stress and pushes me to my limit.
What is your favorite thing about being a part of the Honors College? My favorite thing about being a part of the Honors College is the volunteering opportunities they offer. From setting up the events to cleaning up at the end, I was able to make a positive impact and help others.
How many points did you acquire during the 2018-2019 academic year? I acquired 213 points during the 2018-2019 academic year.
Did you find achieving that number of points difficult or easy? I found achieving that number of points difficult. It required a lot of planning.
How many events do you estimate that you have been to in order to achieve those points? I estimate around 60 events that I have been to in order to achieve those points.
What is your favorite Honors event that you have attended? My favorite Honors event was Honors Night at the FIU Football Stadium.
What motivates you to be so involved in Honors College events? What motivates me to be involved in Honor College events is that I get to learn about new areas and have fun at each Honors College event.
Any advice on how to be more involved for people who have a hard time balancing schoolwork and being very involved on campus? Plan your schoolwork and studies ahead to have free time for your activity involvements. Set dates in which you have to complete a certain amount of work for one day, and another amount of work for another day.
