We are an organization, that focuses on giving all students the opportunity to learn, design, and make creative materials. These materials could be for cool projects, useful gadgets, or anything that you want to bring to life. We will be focusing on both the proposal, business, and design processes, as well as the actual construction and manufacturing for each project or item.
There will be organized educational sessions and workshops to give members the skills in preparation for making their designs and proposing their production in the future. These seminars include learning how to use a 3D printer, how to use 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks and Google SketchUp, programming business, and how to design in general.
We accept any FIU student from any major and any background that wants to make great things or learn how to get on the right track to making it, though Honors students will receive special offers. Don’t be afraid to contact us for more information!

Green Campus Initiative (GCI)
Our Goal
The Green Campus Initiative (GCI) is a non-political student initiative aiming to develop and implement feasible plans to make FIU’s MMC campus environmentally friendly. GCI focuses on simple, business-friendly projects that contribute to sustaining our environment. GCI’s primary goals include raising awareness about the implications of plastic pollution and waste. Significant operative actions of GCI include student petitions, cooperation with other established student organizations, on-campus events, and debates with entities of interest, such as the student government association. GCI will, most importantly, serve as a platform to debate and merge ideas concerning the protection of our local environment.

BC Community Project
About Us
The BC Community project is a university student-led club that is working on establishing a safe shelter for the homeless community. To have a place to lay their heads at night when they are turned down from certain shelters or have run out of options on where to rest and lay their belongings. The shelter would be provided in the form of bubble tents to promote social distancing and allow the community a safe location to stay while they fight off the virus. The project would also provide the community with resources on where to get tested, education on how to keep themselves safe, where to find food and a community to lean on in times of struggle. If you’re looking to find ways to make a difference in your community and to be involved in the fight to eradicate Coronavirus from our great City, then this group is for you. We all have power for change, let’s use it.

HEARTS Writing Club
Humans are mirrors, and we reflect what we see. The fictional worlds we grew up in and escaped inside now act as vessels, allowing us to better understand ourselves and our surroundings. HEARTS Writing Club challenges you to look inward, find yourself, and document the journey.
The purpose of HEARTS Writing Club is to get together with other students and have a place where we can share our creative sides. Each meeting will have different writing prompts that students can choose from and write in whatever style they are most comfortable in. It is a great way to flex the creative side of our brains and can act as a way to reflect and clear the mind.
