Freshmen, dual enrollment, and FTICs do not need clearance.
Newly admitted Freshmen, Dual Enrollment, and FTIC’s (first-time in college students)
– Students without an FIU GPA: If space is available, freshmen in their first year who do not yet have an FIU GPA may apply for a Study Abroad program after their Fall grades have been posted (Dec 15, 2022.) Students must have earned a minimum GPA of 3.3 to apply.
– Students with a College GPA: Dual Enrollment students and FTIC’s, with or without a completed AA degree, who have placed into the upper division Honors curriculum, must have a minimum 3.3 overall college GPA to apply.
– All qualifying newly admitted freshmen and FTICs must have attended an Honors Orientation or Workshop to enroll in an Honors Study Abroad Program.
