We want students to have the freedom to purchase their flights on their own terms. Some students might want to use accrued miles, arrive earlier, stay longer, or extend their trip to other cities. This is the only way to allow that.
All programs are interdisciplinary and work for all majors. You can make your study USA experience as much, or as little, about your major as you want it to be. You can gear your project towards your major’s topic or take a break from it and do the opposite.
Check with your online advisor. If they allow you to take the Summer C class on campus (IDH 3034,) we will be happy to take you! Ask them to email their consent to Luli Szeinblum at email@example.com.
Yes. But if you are paying through a scholarship, it is still your responsibility to have the payment made on time and in its entirety. It would be your responsibility to contact Financial Aid to ensure they will be complying by the deadline. If any delays are foreseen, you must notify the Honors College of the situation in advance. And if the scholarship will not cover the full amount due, it is your responsibility to pay the remaining balance.
Students with Federal Aid and Bright Futures can reach out to OneStop for more information about their aid.
There are no scholarships specifically geared towards Study USA. However, regular scholarships might cover it. For information about Scholarships, go to https://scholarships.fiu.edu/. If you have any questions, contact the Office of Scholarships at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (305) 348-0349. If you want to go in person, they are located at PC 158.
