The Honors College would like to welcome Hazel Hooker as our Assistant Dean of Student Success. As an Honors College Alumna herself, Hooker started as an FIU student and then transitioned to faculty roles such as Assistant Director for Academic Advising, Adjunct Instructor, and Program Director of the Center for Student Engagement. Through these roles, Hooker has gained years of experience in areas such as student affairs, student development, and student engagement. Now, she is excited to return to the Honors College in her new role to help improve the student experience by connecting students and faculty.
