Course Description*


This course is designed to help students get the most of their Washington, D.C. in-person experience by providing access to elected officials and their teams, government agencies, advocacy organizations, private sector businesses, etc. This course will focus on giving students the interdisciplinary tools necessary to process, research, and analyze public policy solutions. Students will focus their efforts during this course on a real-life advocacy assignment, work with a project mentor on it, and both develop and execute on the assignment’s deliverables. Students will be asked to present on their project at the end of the semester.
