


This internship program provides diverse FIU students greater industry exposure and training in Wealth Management Client Services.

Program Details and Eligibility
- The Morgan Stanley/Florida International University Scholars Internship Program is a 1.5-year / 4-rotation paid-program designed to provide ethnically diverse and/or female sophomore and junior students with hands-on exposure to the Wealth Management industry
- Currently recruiting for the spring 2022 cohort (8 students) that will begin in January 2022
- The Program will require students to commit 10-15 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week during the summer (students will not be expected to work during finals or break periods).
- Students will be paid $20/hour
- The Spring 2022 cohort will be based in Morgan Stanley’s Aventura or Miami office. Students will work virtually until it is safe to work from the office
- Each participant will be paired with mentors to provide on-the-job support and career advice
- Upon university graduation, participants will be encouraged and supported to apply for a full-time position at the company

Ensuring The Success Of Every Program Participant
Mentorship
• Each Program participant will be paired with a mentor
• Mentors will help ensure your success in each rotation and will create introductions to areas of interest
Learn and Grow
• Training will be provided to all participants during the first week of the program and at the beginning of each rotation
• This training will include a Firm-wide orientation, business overviews, product training and technical skill development
Leadership Exposure
• Throughout the program participants will be exposed to senior leadership through Lunch & Learns and a Senior Speaker Series
• Program leaders have an open door policy and encourage participants to set up one-on-one meetings
Networking
• There will be many opportunities to network with employees across Wealth Management
