HEARTS (A cappella group)
A cappella groups sing without musical accompaniment only relying on the tones of the human voice. HEARTbeats brings together students who sing, who beatbox, who rap, and more. It is currently led by Gladys Levy, the Musical Director. From the most popular of pop music to classic World War I tunes to lift the spirits of the downtrodden, if it can be sung HEARTbeats will make a showstopping performance of it.

HEARTS Shakespeare Society
Some people think that the plays of William Shakespeare are dull, confusing relics of the past. HEARTS Shakespeare Society hopes to bring the drama, romance, chaos, and laughter of Shakespeare’s plays to a modern audience. This club allows members to enjoy Shakespeare not as an assignment but as a work of entertainment. Join us for an hour of revels so fun it will make parting such sweet sorrow!
HEARTS Shakespeare Society is open to all. No prior reading is necessary; just bring yourself, a friend, and a love for literature as well as theatre.

HEARTS Writing Club
Humans are mirrors, and we reflect what we see. The fictional worlds we grew up in and escaped inside now act as vessels, allowing us to better understand ourselves and our surroundings. With isolation and the world’s condition looming over our minds, HEARTS Writing Club challenges you to look inward, find yourself, and document the journey.
Fall 2020’s theme is “Self through Fiction”, and we’ll be visiting stories told across the world and throughout time. Meetings are each held with their own standalone theme, so prior/future meeting attendance is encouraged but not required.
Led by Maria Parente, the club meets on a bi-weekly basis on Wednesdays at 5:00pm via Zoom. For more information contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
