Honors Faculty Fellow Recognized as a 40 Under 40 Miami-Dade Bar Award Winner

The Honors College congratulates Andrej Milic, Esq. on being recognized as a 40 under 40 Miami-Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section Award Winner!

The Miami Dade Bar (MDB) is a local bar association with approximately 4,500 members. The association was founded in the early 1900s and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1920. In addition to services provided for members, MDB provides services that benefit the general public.

Upon receiving the award, professor Milic stated, “Receiving this legal award is a testament to my unwavering commitment to justice, legal education, and the tireless advocacy I have committed to over my career. It is an honor to be recognized among such esteemed peers in the legal community.”

Born in Vienna, Austria to Yugoslavian parents, Andrej Milic is the Director of Development at FIU College of Law. Mr. Milic obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science Degree from Miami-Dade College where he was a member of the honors college. He obtained his Master of Management Degree with a specialization in Justice Administration from St. Thomas University and his Juris Doctor of Law from the University of Florida. Andrej earned his LL.M. in Intercultural Human Rights at. St. Thomas University School of Law. Mr. Milic is a licensed attorney in Florida and has completed the Florida Bar Leadership Academy as part of Class X. Mr. Milic has developed courses for aspiring attorneys and teaches at numerous universities including the Honors College at Florida International University. Andrej Milic lectures internationally on various international legal topics. Mr. Milic’s community involvement includes Business Network International and the Hispanic National Bar Association.
