Biography
Edmund F. Newborn is an adjunct lecturer in FIU’s Honors College with more than 20 years of experience in Catholic education, including classroom teaching and campus ministry. He holds a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from Barry University, Miami Shores (Dec. 2018), a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from St. Joseph’s Seminary, Yonkers, NY (May 2006), and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from St. John’s University, Jamaica, NY (May 2001). Newborn has served as an adjunct lecturer for three years and brings practical ministry experience and a focus on religious studies, ethics, and student formation.
