Study Abroad programs have a lot of moving parts, so take the time to plan out how you’re getting to the starting destination and how you will make the best use of our program accommodations.

Getting to the Starting Destination

While our programs do cover in-program transportation as part of the program fee, you are responsible for arranging your own transportation to the first destination of your program and back home from the last destination.

For example, if you are participating in a program that starts and ends in Rome, then you are responsible for transportation to Rome before the start of the program and back home after the end of the program.

This can be a bit more complex, but offers some advantages:

Use accrued miles
Part of a loyalty program? Fly using your points or miles!
Choose your airline
Have an airline you trust to not lose your bag? Pick them!
Arrive early to the host country
Want to get there to Tokyo early to recover from jet lag? You can do that!
Stay longer
Want to spend an extra week in London after the program ends? No problem!

Safe and Convenient Accommodations

We hand-pick a mix of hotels, apartments, homestays, and temples for our stays abroad. In most programs, participants share rooms with about three other participants of the same sex (four total, per room). Each participant will have their own bed.
