Biography
Gabriela Izaguirre, MA, is an Academic Advisor for FIU's College of Business Undergraduate Advising department. Gabriela graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Master's of Arts in Asian Studies from Florida International University. After her studies, she spent a few years teaching English with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program in Okinawa, Japan. Gabriela has teaching experience in the following courses: SLS1501- First Year Experience course for incoming freshman students, and GEB 3003- Career Management for upper division business students She has also presented at national advising conferences and her Master's Thesis "The History Textbook Controversy Amid Post-War Sino-Japanese Relations" has been publish and quotes in various works.
