Jordan Dollar

Biography

Jordan Dollar bridges legal education and community impact as Director of FIU College of Law's Medical-Legal Partnership with FIU's Green Family Foundation NeighborhoodHELP program, where he trains law students to address the legal needs of underserved patients. He also supervises students in the Community Lawyering Clinic and holds a Faculty Fellowship at the FIU Honors College.

A graduate of the University of Florida (B.A., Political Science) and FIU College of Law (J.D.), Prof. Dollar was selected as a Florida Bar Fellow at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Human Rights during law school. His scholarship has been cited by Human Rights Watch and The Miami Herald, and he has been recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 Outstanding Attorney in Miami-Dade County and a Super Lawyers Rising Star.

Beyond the classroom, Prof. Dollar founded The Dollar Law Firm, practicing immigration law and civil litigation across Florida and Michigan. He also serves as President of the Board of Directors for Catholic Legal Services, the largest nonprofit immigration legal services provider in South Florida.
