Biography
Matt Shafer is Assistant Professor of political theory in the Department of Politics and International Relations. His current work focuses primarily on debates about science, technology, and media in capitalist society; he also has research interests in the politics of language and in theories of violence and nonviolence. He received his PhD in 2020 from Yale University.
