Biography
Miss Ordóñez is a classically trained painter working primarily in oil, pastel, and digital media. She holds an MFA in Painting with a certificate in Portrait and Figurative Art. She also holds a Master of Arts in Teaching Art Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a minor in Anthropology.
She currently serves as the Assistant Director for Marketing and Communications for FIU'S Student Health and Wellness Department. She manages a creative team in charge of campaign development, graphic design, illustration, product creation, distribution, and more. She has been at the University for over 20 years and has extensive public speaking experience as well as a passion for mentoring students and life-long learning.
