Course Description

Global Social Entrepreneurship introduces the key skills, tools, and mental frameworks required to solve the world’s most complex and pressing challenges through social entrepreneurship, including those needed to launch, grow, and sustain a social enterprise venture. We will explore the role of social entrepreneurship in society globally, nationally, and locally, including opportunities and challenges of social entrepreneurship for creating real change. The course will examine the various forms of social ventures, the practical considerations and steps needed to create them, and case studies of successful social entrepreneurs. We will consider the guiding framework of the United Nations’ Sustainable development Goals.
