Course Description
Hope, that elusive feathered thing, can feel in short supply these days.
Many of those at the cutting edge of their fields are gone deeply into themselves and their worlds looking for it. This course is based on interviews with visual arts and musicians; architects and designers and city planners; physicians and hospice workers; mathematicians and biologists and many more.
By semester's end, students would be familiar with stellar research in these various fields presented in very human language.
Just maybe, hope itself won't seem quite so far away.
