Course Description

A hands-on seminar designed to help students become the kind of leaders others trust when situations are messy, uncertain, or tense. Rather than focusing on leadership and conflict theory alone, the course emphasizes practical tools students can apply, whether in teams, group projects, campus organizations, workplaces, or personal relationships. Students will explore why conflict arises, how to communicate when emotions run high, and how to make thoughtful decisions when there is no single “right” answer. Through case studies, interactive activities, simulations, and reflective exercises, students will practice approaching difficult conversations with confidence, clarity, and empathy.
