Applying to the Honors College
Depending on your student status, there are different criteria for admission into the Honors College.

How to Apply
- Access the application through your MyFIU portal at my.fiu.edu. Make sure to use the same Panther ID and password provided to you when you applied to FIU.
- Under Admissions, click Apply to the Honors College in the left sidebar. If you do not see the link, it may be because your weighted GPA or test scores do not meet the minimum requirements for admission.
- Upload all required documentation.
- Personal Statement: 300 to 500 words explaining why you want to join the Honors College and providing specific examples of how FIU Honors can help you achieve your academic and career goals.
- Resume: A brief written account of personal, educational, and professional qualifications and experience. No more than one page in length, your resumé should highlight your involvement in activities demonstrating leadership skills, participation in service or commitment to intellectual and creative pursuits.
- Submit your application.
