Our advisors are here to help you succeed, offering both academic and professional guidance for all enrolled Honors students. Each student is assigned an advisor who will help chart a personalized track for timely graduation and potential opportunities.

Schedule an Appointment

You should meet with your assigned advisor at least once per semester. To schedule an appointment with your advisor:

  1. Login to your MyFIU account using your FIU credentials
  2. Select Academic Advising
  3. Select Go to Panther Success Network and login using your FIU credentials
  4. In the top right of the page, select Schedule an Appointment
  5. Choose Honors College Advising from the list of appointment types, then select your advisor and Honors Advising
  6. Select the location (in-person advising is only offered at the MMC campus)
  7. Select a date and time from the calendar
  8. Write the reason for your appointment in the Additional Details box
  9. Once finished, click Confirm Appointment

Virtual Drop-In

Honors College Advisors offer 10-minute Virtual Drop-in Advising sessions to address questions related to policies, procedures, or Honors or IDH course enrollment. 

Drop-in sessions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited by the number of students we can assist during the scheduled time. Wait times can vary and may be unable to meet with every student during drop-in hours. 

To connect to a Drop-in session, you will need to log in with your FIU credentials, have your audio enabled and have your Panther ID number readily available. 

Please note that full appointments with your assigned advisor are better suited for more in-depth conversation regarding topics such as graduate programs, career paths or application processes.
