Course Description

Miami is at the avant-garde of the contemporary art world. The Art in Miami seminar offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves into this progressive and innovative milieu. The class will visit museums, private collections, artists collectives, artists’ studios, and galleries. In addition, students will have the opportunity to assist artists on their projects. The course will include excursions to the Margulies Collection, the Rubell Museum, and the Perez Art Museum Miami, among others. This seminar is taught by Artist and Professor John William Bailly (MFA, Yale University) who spent over a decade leading students on study abroad in Europe.
