Course Description

Often, people outside of the healthcare industry and those with a vested interest in profiting from laws meant to hinder access are shaping policy and laws related to proactive, access and education for medicine and healthcare. It is important that future doctors, nurses, healthcare educators, and allied health professionals are aware of how government and politics can shape the trajectory of their field and healthcare practices, and their role as an advocate for their patients and their profession.
